Ms Rita Menon, Chairperson and Managing Director, India Trade Promotion Organisation, New Delhi, presented the annual awards of the Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (Maditssia) at its 38th anniversary celebrations held in the city recently.
The Maditssia-AIMO Visveswaraya Award for the best micro small enterprises was given to Madurai ACME Enterprises Pvt Ltd. The second prize was given to The Globe Radio Company, Tirunelveli, the third prize went to Perrys Foods, Madurai.
A consolation prize was given to Excel Engineering, Tirunelveli.
The joint Maditssia-TVS Service Industry Award for the best service industry was given to Winways Systems Pvt Ltd, Madurai, and the second prize was given to CA Infotech India Ltd, Madurai.
The joint Maditssia-Sakthi Masala Pvt Ltd, Women Entrepreneur award was given to Murphy Products, Madurai and the second prize was given to J.Thangavanam Samuvelraj Enterprises, Madurai.
