The Rs 1,670-crore Krishna phase-III drinking water evacuation project has received encouraging response with major infrastructure companies evincing interest.
The project seeks to bring 90 million gallons per day of drinking water from Krishna river to Hyderabad.
Following the Government move to relax norms, some of the major infrastructure companies have evinced interest. These include Hindustan Construction Company, IVRCL, VA Tech Wabag, Kirloskar Brothers, Indian Hume Pipe Company and Rithwik Projects.
Today is the last date for submission of application for tender process.
