The West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee today appealed to film makers from India and abroad to invest in the state, and said her government is interested in setting up three film cities there.
The entertainment industry will be a part of the new era in West Bengal, Banerjee said today.
“We have the potential and Bengal must be the destination for the world. I welcome all national and international film makers. Please come and invest your money for Bengal. It is your own state,” Banerjee said at the inauguration of the Kolkata International Film Festival here.
“Our Bengal industry is also improving a lot and our government is interested to set up three film cities in Bengal itself. We want to give boost and importance to film industry,” Banerjee said.
