The 2-day Bengal Global Business Summit got underway in Kolkata on Friday. Highlighting the advantages of doing business in the State, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wooed investors from the country and abroad. Making a strong pitch for more investments, Mamata Banerjee said the State has been clocking a growth rate higher than that of the country. About Rs 12,000 crore investment proposals have been announced so far.
