Mercedes-Benz India today inaugurated India’s fourth and Hyderabad’s first AMG Performance Centre and plans to add one more centre in Pune.

With the expansion of the AMG Performance Centre (APC), Mercedes-AMG will offer exclusive and personalised service to AMG customers. The two new Performance Centres in Hyderabad and Pune will take the total number of high-end AMG Performance Centres to five outlets in India.

Mercedes-Benz India last year inaugurated three APCs in three days, which was the fastest roll-out of APCs anywhere in the world.

The AMG Performance Centres are designed to offer an exclusive and customised Mercedes-AMG product experience and a commitment to first-class service quality in customer relationship. Luxury car owners and aspirers prefer exclusivity and Mercedes-AMG is committed to creating a bond with these customers by offering them a special brand experience.

The AMG Performance Centres are characterised by a consistently applied and unique AMG brand identity.

These distinct AMG Performance Centres along with an AMG portfolio comprising seven models, promises strong growth for AMG in India.

Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “Mercedes-AMG is synonymous with ‘high performance driving’ and the increasing popularity of the AMG brand in India excites us. The inauguration of two more AMG Performance Centres reaffirms our clear customer centric focus, which aims at getting customers closer to the AMG brand, and offering them the globally renowned and highly customised AMG brand experience. India now belongs to an exclusive circle of 400 select AMG dealers worldwide. The AMG Performance Centre will serve as the right place for performance car enthusiasts to experience and discover the right AMG model, concept, and accessories for an unparalleled driving and ownership experience."

The AMG Performance Centres have their own distinct branding and focus on AMG performance brand, AMG products and concepts, as well as on the individualisation options, which will create a bespoke and immersive brand experience.

The automotive company has seen the demand for high-end performance cars on a steady rise in Hyderabad and the inauguration of this AMG Performance Centre is expected to boost it further.

The sports car and performance brand, Mercedes-AMG, posted a record year in 2014 with sales of 47,632 vehicles∙
