MTS launches MBlaze across Kerala

Sistema Shyam Tele Services Limited (SSTL), which provides telecom services under the MTS brand, today launched its high-speed mobile broadband service — MBlaze in 51 new towns across Kerala.

Among towns where the service was launched are Manjeswar, Neeleswaram, Thrikaripur, Cheruvannur, Koodaranji, Mavoor, Kadavalur, Nilambur, Cherpulacherry, Shoranur, Yakkara, Angamaly and Vattapara.

With this roll out, MTS has expanded its high speed data footprint to over 130 towns across Kerala.

According to Radhakrishnan K V, Chief Operating Officer Kerala Circle of MTS India, the company is focused on expanding its high speed data network across the country and today’s launch in the state was part of the initiative.

This latest expansion would enable MTS data customers experience state-of-the-art high speed data services, including Live TV and Games-on-Demand, he told reporters here.

“MTS has over 66,500 data customers across Kerala and with further expansion in our HSD footprint in the state, it expects to add many more customers in the next few months,” he added.

MTS provides High Speed Mobile Broadband services in over 350 towns across India.

On ‘MBlaze Advantage’, he said as an introductory offer, customers buying a new MBlaze data connection just need to pay Rs 999 to get an MBlaze dongle along with 10 GB data usage with 30 day validity.

For a secured internet experience new MBlaze customers will also get free trial pack of PC Safe for one month.

MTS has also introduced an Unlimited Social Media plan at Rs 647, providing unlimited access to Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter for a month. Additionally, customers also get 4 GB data usage, the company said.
