Nabard loan disbursals cross Rs 10K cr mark in AP

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Andhra Pradesh regional office has crossed Rs 10,000 crore mark in loan disbursals.

“As a single institution, this is the highest-ever disbursal done by Nabard,’’ K.R. Nair, Chief General Manager, Nabard-AP, told newspersons here on Friday.

Loans given to the State Government and banks by Nabard grew 39 pc to Rs 12,867 crore during 2012-13. Of this, Rs 7,986 crore related to crop loans was given to farmers.

For the current financial year, Nabard has set a credit flow target of Rs 1.06 lakh crore in Andhra Pradesh, Nair added.
