The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has sanctioned Rs 407.94 crore to Kerala for various rural infrastructure projects.
In a release here, the Bank said the amount was sanctioned from the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) for providing infrastructure facilities to agriculture, related sectors and social and connectivity areas.
The present allocation had set apart funds for 63 projects under the scheme in the state.
An amount of Rs 738.36 crore had been sanctioned to the state for various projects in 2012-13 under RIDF, the release said.
