Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu launched a direct attack on his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on Monday, during an address detailing his one year in office.

Since the law and order in the joint capital of Hyderabad is vested with the Governor, KCR is overreaching in foisting false charges against him, said Naidu.

He further threw a direct challenge to KCR., saying: “If you have an ACB, police force in Hyderabad, I also have the same powers in Hyderabad.

“Who gave you the power to tap our phones and to do sting operations? We will blunt these moves.”

The Telangana government had mounted false cases against the TDP government in AP to negatively impact the good occasion of one year in office, he said.

“If differences between the two States are widened by such wicked moves, it will become serious,” he said while mooting peaceful methods to sort out differences between the two.
