Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met with Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak today at the World Economic Forum at Davos.
Bill Gates invited the Chief Minister to a private dinner being hosted by him tonight at the WEF. Later in the day, the Chief Minister also met with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and discussed about investment opportunities, according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office.
Naidu also had interaction with Sunil Mittal of Bharti group and discussed with him on 4G services in the State. The Chief Minister met with B. Goenka of Welspun group and took part in a session on “Glocal Dilemmas: Building responsible supply chains for tomorrow’s consumers.”
In the meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, areas of potential investments in Andhra Pradesh were deliberated.
The Malaysian Prime Minister assured the Chief Minister that he would send a delegation to the state to explore investment opportunities in tourism and others sectors.
He also met with CP Gurnani of Mahindra group, CEO of Royal Phillips, Frans Van Houten, CEO of Diageo Plc. Ivan Menezes.
