Prashant Kumar has taken charge as the new Chief General Manager of Kolkata circle of State Bank of India. He took charge on December 2.
Kumar had joined SBI as a probationary officer in 1983.
Prior to his joining as CGM, he was the General Manager of Mumbai circle.
He had been the Deputy General Manager (Industrial Relation) at the bank’s Corporate Centre in Mumbai. Prior to that, he was the Chairman of the Purvanchal Gramin Bank, Gorakhpur.
