New student loan scheme

As many as 65 colleges and polytechnics participated in Canara Bank’s awareness drive here on its new loan scheme for vocational training students. A bank release said it launched a nationwide promotional campaign for the new product on July 1. The Bangalore campaign was inaugurated by Ms Archana Bhargava, executive director, in the presence of Mr H.U. Talwar, director, State Department of Technical Education.
