An augmented reality-based app can make them interact with voters ‘live’ from billboards or flex boards — or wherever they choose to flash their visages from. Mounted on a mobile phone/tablet/PC, the app needs just be trained on their images to get them talking to the audience. Augmented reality gives a physical interaction experience by converting static data to interactive/dynamic information.
Singapore-based Cearsleg Technologies is now offering campaign managers the option to use this tech, also called ‘the hustings’ platform. Hustings is taken to mean a meeting at which candidates in an election address potential voters.

Candidates may use the app to present their views in the form of speeches. The major advantage is that it provides more authentic visuals and sound than material disseminated through conventional news releases.
Content integrationThe content can be integrated with social media, blogs and online newspapers to be accessed via the app.
Text, images and static ads published in newspapers and magazines can also act as interface for augmented reality-based campaigns.
This husting app is relatively less expensive and memory usage is relatively lower than normal apps.
