O2 Skills Academy has signed an agreement with the Telangana government to impart skills to 1,260 students in the hospitality sector. “About 35 students per batch will get theoretical and practical classes for three months with an option to get additional skills in wellness therapies, hair and beauty treatments. The curriculum is designed and approved by the Telangana government,” Ritesh Mastipuram, founder and Managing Director, O2 Spa said in a statement here on Monday.
“We address the issue of shortage in quality and skilled manpower in the spa and hospitality industry,” he said.
At the end of the course, each student will have to take two separate examinations, covering theoretical and practical aspects. “The training for the first batch students will begin this week. The agreement is aimed at covering 1,260 students in a span of three years,” a statement said.
