Olympic medalists P.V.Sindhu and Sakshi Malik will be honoured at the upcoming ninth edition of the Kerala Travel Mart to be held here on September 27.
KTM 2016 -- the largest gathering of tourism stakeholders in the State – is being organized by the KTM Society in association with the Tourism Department from September 28-30.
The presence of Olympian medallists at the KTM will add lustre to the growing appeal of the biennial tourism industry conclave, which expects to see some 560 international delegates and over 1,300 domestic buyers in attendance over its three-day run, KTM Society President Abraham George said.
An array of products, services and packages from around 261 sellers including hotels, resorts, houseboats, Ayurveda resorts, home stays and tour operators, will find showcase at the event, which will be held at the Samudrika and Sagara Convention Centre, Kochi.
KTM 2016 will focus on the themes of ‘Responsible Tourism’ and ‘Muziris and Spice Route’.
