The Palakkad division of Southern Railways has announced the extension of the Parasuram Express to Nagercoil Junction.
A press release here said regular services of train no. 16649 Mangalore Central–Nagercoil Parasuram Express will commence from July 17 from both Nagercoil Junction and Mangalore Central stations.
Train no. 16649 Mangalore Central–Nagercoil Parasuram Express will reach Thiruvananthapuram at 6.30 pm and will leave at 6.40 pm. This train will reach Nagercoil Junction at 8.40 pm.
Train no. 16650 Nagercoil-Mangalore Central Parasuram Express will leave Nagercoil Junction at 4 am and will reach Thiruvananthapuram at 6.15 am. It will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 6.25 am.
On the extended stretch this train will stop at Neyyatinkara, Parassala, Kulitturai and Eraniel stations. There will be no change in the timings and halts of these trains between Thiruvananthapuram and Mangalore Central, the release added.
