Telugu superstar and Jana Sena Party founder-president Pawan Kalyan on Thursday announced plans to fight the 2019 Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing a meeting in Anantapur, he also said the first party office will be established in that backward town in AP’s Rayalseema region.
He criticised the Chandrababu Naidu government as well as YSR Congress Party leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy for not doing enough for the State.
He blamed the CM for welcoming the Centre’s special package rather than demanding the promised special status.
“I have reacted slowly to the issue because I wanted to understand it and consult experts and economists,” Pawan Kalyan said. He had earlier held a massive meeting in Kakinada, demanding special status for AP.
