Poetree Sarovar Portico, a newly-opened resort in Thekkady, has won the ‘best holiday accommodation’ award at the India Hospitality Awards 2015-West and South Zone. R Reghunath, Managing Director of Poetree Resort, received the award from Kamala Vardhana Rao, Secretary, Tourism, at a function in Kochi. The winners were selected through online voting from 2.87 lakh entries originating from 25 countries.
