Government doctors in Rajasthan ended their week-long strike and resumed work after elaborate talks with the State government. A meeting, which started at 2 pm yesterday and continued till 11 pm, was held between the doctors and a delegation of government officials.

Upon reaching a consensus, the doctors called off their strike, a press release said. As many as 2,000 primary health centres (PHCs) and 569 community health centres (CHCs) along with several district hospitals were hit hard by the strike. PTI
