The National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayath Raj (NIRDPR) will be organising a Rural Technology and Crafts Mela at its premises here during January 8-12, 2015.
Disclosing this at a press conference here on Tuesday, NIRD Director General M V Rao said 148 entrepreneurs from 19 states would set up stalls showcasing proto-type models of rural development including innovative technologies.
The products to be displayed would include solar and jute products, kundan rangoli designs, Kashmiri shawls, terracota, imitation jewellery, tribal jewellery, Madhubani paintings, Batik and embroidery works, among others.
