Sadbhav-GKC bags Karnataka road project

Sadbhav-GKC, a consortium led by Sadbhav Engineering Ltd has bagged a road project under the Karnataka State Highways Improvement Project (KSHIP).

The value of the project, which links Malavalli in Mandya district and Pavagada in Tumkur district, is Rs 737.20 crore. The distance is 193.344 km.

As per the draft concession agreement, the consortium is eligible to get a fixed grant of Rs 239.21 crore from World Bank through KSHIP.

The consortium had quoted semi-annual annuity of Rs 71.10 crore to be received from commercial operation date till end of concession, a company release said.

According to company release to exchanges, the KSHIP project is under the design, build finance, operate, maintain and transfer (DBFOMT) model. The concession period is 10 years, including construction period of 30 months.
