Goa Tourism has brought on a new initiative to bring in the tourists.
Sand Cult, in association with Goa Tourism, have presented tourists with a visual treat, a chance to see a 20-foot tall sand castle which has been put up at Calangute Beach.
Jerry Jose, Founder of Sand Cult said, "Tourism in the State will derive the maximum benefit from this. Sand Art is a very fragile, delicate and complex art; through these installations we want to promote this art form".
Simon Smith, World Master People Champion, has volunteered to help promote sand art in Goa. He has created an elaborate installation around the animated character Shrek and his castle.
The sand castle at Calangute Beach will be open to the public till May 31, 2014.
