Headmaster of a primary school was suspended in the mid-day meal case in which over 11 children fell ill after consuming it, police said today.
Ramvir was suspended yesterday by the district authorities, they said.
A show cause notice was also issued to Gram Pradhan Jogender Sain by the district authorities in connection with the incident.
Gram Pradhan is the committee Chairman responsible for supplying mid-day meals.
Over 11 students of Government-run primary school fell ill after consuming the mid-day meal at Lusana village in the district on July 20, 2013.
An inquiry has been ordered in to the incident, K K Singh, Basic Shiksha Adhkari said.
