Siemens showcased the different ways in which machine tool builders can boost their production flexibility and efficiency, drastically reduce their engineering input and time-to-market, as well as consolidate and expand their competitive standing in the global marketplace by digitalising their operations.

Digitalisation is set to fundamentally transform and advance the machine tool industry, which is an integral part of India’s manufacturing sector.

Talking about digitalisation, Vijay Pratap Singh, Head of Motion Control business, Digital Factory, Siemens India, said: “It is radically and sustainably changing the production environment.
