The Singapore Government developed master plan for the new capital city for Andhra Pradesh will be presented to State Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here today.
The foundation for the capital city named after historical Buddhist site of Amaravati is proposed to be laid on June 6.
The State Government had entrusted the task of developing the master plan to Singapore based agencies.
S.Iswaran, Second Minister for Trade and Industry of Singapore, will present the second phase of master plan developed by Singapore government agencies to the Chief Minister.
The second phase covers 125 square km of the core of the capital city.
Officials from Centre of Liveable Cities accompanying Iswaran would interact with high-powered committee on the formation of the new capital.
The first phase of the Master Plan of the capital region for approximately 7,325 square km area was submitted in March. It has also been fine-tuned later.
