A sunny day greeted Delhiites today with the minimum temperature settling at 7.3 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the year.
Clear weather came as a pleasant surprise for Delhiites after yesterday’s heavy rains and hailstorm which had hit vehicular movement and disrupted normal life.
The rain gauges measured 12.5 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours which caused the maximum temperature to remain at 16.4 degrees, four degrees below normal for this time of year.
The day will be pleasant with maximum temperature expected to be around 16 degrees Celsius, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
