The national capital today recorded the sixth death due to swine flu with a 55—year—old man succumbing to H1N1 virus at a private hospital here.
“He was tested positive for swine flu and was suffering from severe comorbid conditions and had diabetes, hypertension and bilateral pneumonia,” a senior official from the Delhi government health department said.
“However, the sample of the decease will be sent to the national centre for disease control to reconfirmation,” the officer said.
So far a total 907 cases of swine flu have been recorded in the capital.
