Syndicate Bank has opened eight new branches in Andhra Pradesh today, four of them in Hyderabad. The branches were opened at Balapur, Chandrayangutta, Meerpet and Badangpet in Hyderabad besides Pathapadu, Penamaluru (in Vijayawada) and two in Ananthpur region. With the opening of these branches, SyndicateBank now has 3,260 branches, including 500 in Andhra Pradesh. The 500th branch was opened by its Executive Director, M Anjaneya Prasad, at Pragathi Nagar here, according to a release.
