The grand finale of the ‘Quiz on the Beach’ (QOTB) of the Manipal-based TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) will be conducted at Kaup beach in Udupi district on January 5.
A press release by the institute said here on Friday this year is the 12 edition of QOTB. The qualifiers for this year’s event were conducted in Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, New Delhi and Kolkata, along with an international qualifier in Dubai. An online qualifier was also conducted for this edition.
The release said that the grand finale would see eight teams participating in the event. The winning teams will win prize money of ₹6 lakh, ₹3 lakh and ₹1 lakh for the first, second and third place, respectively. Giri ‘Pickbrain’ Balasubramaniam will be the quiz master for the grand finale, it said.
