Tata Sons Chairman, Cyrus P Mistry called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his Camp Office here on Wednesday and discussed potential to work on projects in the State.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, the State Government was keen to make use of the Tata Group's knowledge and expertise in technology and other areas to build smart cities.
The Tata Group Chairman is stated to have assured that they would work with Andhra Pradesh in NTR Sujala Sravanthi Scheme, a packaged drinking water scheme and with the Government in skill development and training.
The State’s new water scheme, that aims to provide drinking water to rural households, seeks to engage corporate entities through their corporate social responsibility initiative.
