P. Nivin Krishnan and R. Rahul, students of GKD Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Perianaickenpalayam, emerged winners in the Coimbatore regional round of TCS IT Wiz. The duo will represent Coimbatore in the national finals slated for December 14.
The GKD team scored 70 points and kept the runner-up team from St Judes Public School and Junior College, Kotagiri, well behind at 30 points.
The six teams that entered the regional finals include students from Stanes Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, Coonoor; GRD Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore; St Judes, Kotagiri, Chinmaya International Residential School; Suguna Pip School; and GKD Matric.
Anushya Prabha T. and Zione Philomin Antony P. of St Judes team were in the second place.
The six finalists received an array of prizes ranging from Double Duffle Gym bag, headphones, USB pen drive, Notebook speakers and T-shirts
