Delhi Metro had to run shorter trips instead of full trips on the Blue Line for over one-and-half-hour on Tuesday. This was to deal with a technical problem that developed between two stations of the Blue Line – Karol Bagh and R K Ashram.
The technical fault resulted in delays of over one hour for certain destinations, apart from crowded trains and inconvenience to passengers.
In the past one week, this is the second time when a technical fault has cropped up between the same set of stations.
Blue Line is one of the most crowded line and connects 51 stations.
According to DMRC officials, the Metro had to run short loop services between Karol Bagh to Dwarka-21 and Barakhamba to Noida/Vaishali.
