Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has made a reshuffle of portfolios in his Cabinet, without inducting any new face.
The Chief Minister has wrested the Commercial Taxes portfolio from Talasani Srinivas Yadav, while giving additional portfolios of Industries, Mines and MRI Affairs to his son K T Rama Rao, whose other portfolios include IT and Municipal Administration and Urban Development.
Srinivas Yadav will now take care of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy and Cinematography, while Jupally Krishna Rao, who was handling Industries so far, has been assigned Panchayat Raj, Rural Development. (both portfolios were handled by K T Rama Rao).
Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has been given additional portfolio of Cooperation.
The Governor, E S L Narasimhan, has given his consent to the changes proposed by the Chief Minister.
