The newly-formed Telangana State is in the process of studying successful models in different sectors.
While a team lead by IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao is currently visiting Gujarat, Finance Minister Etela Rajender will lead another team to Jharkand from tomorrow.
The team in Gujarat will study the water grid there. The Telangana Government has just announced a drinking water grid with an outlay of Rs 25,000 crore to provide drinking water to all habitations in the State.
It has just ordered a Rs 150-crore survey to study the feasibility.
"In Modi land for a two-day tour along with our Panchayat Raj team to study the water grid and e-panchayat system being implemented by the Government of of Gujarat," Taraka Rama Rao tweeted this morning.
Etele Rajender will lead a team with Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and the officials will visit the fish cage culture practices at Hatya and Chandil reservoirs in Jharkhand on October 19 and 20.
