The Telangana Government makes arrangement for procurement and supply of 250 MW of power from Karnataka.
This arrangement will bridge the part of the deficit now the new State is faced with. It has a deficit of about 350 MW now. With delayed monsoon, the demand-supply gap has gone up.
In another development, a Central Government team is expected to oversee the distribution and supply of power between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Government sources indicated.
