Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation has commenced dynamic test of metro coaches on a half-km long track at Mansarover depot here.
The first test was conducted under the supervision of technical experts last evening on the half-km test track and will continue for almost 40 days to check different systems of the coaches, Jaipur Metro Chairman-cum-Managing Director Nihal Chand Goel said.
After the initial testing, the coaches of the first train, which arrived here in May from Bangalore, will be taken on the main track. The exercise is a part of security and safety check and other coaches will also undergo similar measures, he said.
Jaipur Metro, whose trains will run from Mansarover to Chandpole under phase I, is likely to take at least two more months to roll out.
