Congress party’s Bangalore South candidate Nandan Nilekani and his wife Rohini as part of campaigning visited Vindhya Infotech, an organization that employs the differently-abled visited Vindhya Infotech, an organisation that employs the differently-abled.

Nilekani’s mantra throughout his campaign has been providing opportunity for all. This is why he visited this organisation, one that is committed to employing differently-abled individuals and doing so for profit.

“The differently-abled are often marginalised,” Nilekani said, “But they are strong, talented people, who are not looking for hand-outs. They just need opportunity. I have consistently been impressed by their resolve to tackle adversity, and their ability to work intelligently and hard,” Nilekani said, “I saw this in action again here at Vindhya. I applaud the organisation for the way they have married business with a social purpose.”
