Activist Kiran Bedi today said that the section in India Against Corruption (IAC) wanting to take a political plunge has “branched out” but the movement will continue as it is.
In a post on social networking site ‘Twitter’, Bedi said the political option was being debated in the IAC for the past one year.
“Those who wanted it have chosen to branch out. IAC as a movement goes on,” she said.
Yesterday, she had said that Anna Hazare-led group has started search for a “new office for the IAC for continuity of movement” with focus on strong Lokpal and other issues.
Hazare and his supporters on Wednesday parted ways with Arvind Kejriwal-led group which wants to turn the anti-corruption movement led by the veteran activist political and fight elections.
