The ‘prospective bidders’ consultation meeting’ of solar power developers called by the Tamilnadu Generation and Distribution Company, has met with an overwhelming response.
At the start of the meeting the hall in the Tangedco office resembled a packed cricket crowd, with people filling every inch of available space. Overwhelmed, Tangedco split the two-hour meeting into two batches of one hour each as a number of participants could not even enter the hall.
