24 Frames Factory, a regional film production and distribution player, has expanded its operations to the United States by starting 24 Frames Factory LLC.
Several Telugu producers go for simultaneous releases of their films in the US, which is home to a huge Diaspora of Telugus.
Promoted by actor-entrepreneur Manchu Vishnu, 24 Frames Factory would focus on distributing independent films and the films produced by the firm itself. Headquartered in New Jersey, the US arm will soon open a branch office in Los Angeles shortly.
“We don’t see the value working with other distributors. Setting up a distribution arm is a natural progression for 24 Frames Factory business expansion,” Manchu Vishnu said here in a statement here on Friday.
The US arm will kick off its operations by distributing Rowdy, the Telugu film directed by Ram Gopal Varma, starring Manchu Vishnu's father and veteran actor Mohan Babu.
The company targets to distribute two or three big budget films every year, besides releasing mid-size films too.
