The ruling Telangana Rasthra Samithi (TRS) party has retained the Medak Lok Sabha seat with a huge majority of 3,64,227 votes. TRS candidate Kotta Prabhakara Reddy defeat his rival Sunita Lakshma Reddy of Congress.
The seat fell vacant after TRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao chose to keep his Assembly seat.
