The Telangana Rashtra Samithi and YSR Congress Party today moved notices for moving no-confidence motion against the Congress Government headed by N. Kiran Kumar Reddy. The two parties were joined by the BJP, Left Parties and independent candidates. In the notices for motion of no-confidence submitted to Nadendla Manohar, Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, they contended that the Government failed in providing proper governance including managing the power situation. The main opposition Telugu Desam Party did not join the move to file for no-confidence motion. However, parties were hopeful that the TDP may join them later in the no-confidence motion against the Kiran Reddy Government. The House could not transact any business due to protests in the house forcing repeated adjournments. Earlier adjournment motions moved to take up debate on power crisis and Telangana were rejected by the Speaker.
