Trupik, a mobile app that offers virtual trial room experience, is opening six in-store kiosks next week. The kiosks will help customers get a feel of the clothes they buy. Equipped with 3D cameras, the kiosks scan the customers and give them a 360 degree of the clothes that they want to try.
“While the physical trial of clothes stays, the new experience is highly advanced for digital shoppers who had the only option to pick the apparel of a certain size. We are in the process of installing 45 more kiosks in the next few weeks,” Sridhar Tirumala, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, has said in a statement.
“Trupik Connect drapes the garment on the digital 3D replica of the customer designed to his specifications. This gives a real feel of how the garment looks on him,” he said.
“Presently available in Hyderabad, the service will be available in Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai,” he said here in a statement on Friday.
