Ujjivan Small Finance Bank has begun operations in Coimbatore with the launch of a branch at RS Puram in the city. The bank, a subsidiary of Ujjivan Financial Services, has at present a network of 49 branches across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, New Delhi, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. Over the past eight years, Ujjivan’s microfinance branches in Coimbatore have catered to over 11,200 customers, Ujjivan SFB has said in a release.
