Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the new Madras Management Association building — MMA Management Centre — on Wednesday during the valedictory session of a leadership conclave organised by the MMA in association with Indian Officers Association and McKinsey.

Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit and State Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar were present on the occasion.

MMA, which was established in 1956 with 20 institutional members, today has around 7,000 members to propagate the management movement in this part of the country.

It has been selected the best management association in the country for the last nine years in a row, an MMA press release said.
