Vodafone India has launched a floating retail touchpoint in the backwaters as part of its customer service initiative.
This first-of-its kind floating retail outlet will extend services during monsoon to the people residing on the banks of the backwaters.
The floating outlet, that will address the requirements of people confined to their homes because of rains, will operate from 10 am to 5.30 pm. It will provide services on the Alappuzha-Changanacherry route.
It will provide facilities for bill payments and activate various value-added services. Visitors can also choose from a wide array of Vodafone merchandise on display.
Customers can recharge their prepaid connections, activate data services or simply check out Vodafone’s high speed 2G data services on handsets in the floating Vodafone store.
S. Murali, Business Head – Kerala, Vodafone India, said the boat store has been specially launched to reach and cater to the requirements of customers residing on the banks of backwaters.
