No respite for Delhiites; mercury level may touch 46 degrees C

There was no respite in sight for Delhi from the intense heat wave with the mercury level likely to touch 46 degrees Celsius today.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 30.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal.

Humidity was recorded at 20 per cent at 8.30 a.m.

The MeT department has predicted a clear sky with no rain or storm for the day.

Temperature in the national capital breached the 45 degrees Celsius mark yesterday, making it the hottest day of the season.

The minimum temperature yesterday was 29.4 degrees Celsius, which was a notch above normal.
