In a bid to explore national and international opportunities for skill development in India, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has entered into a partnership with the Centre for Research and Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP), an organisation dedicated to human resource development and organisational development.
CRISP was set up by the Madhya Pradesh government and the Federal Republic of Germany under Indo-German Technical Cooperation.
Additionally, they plan to create suitable interventions for State-level operations, which would offer quality-oriented skills and services.
A memorandum of understanding in this regard was signed by the CEO of CRISP, Mukesh Sharma, and CEO of NSDC, Dilip Chenoy. Sharma pointed out that the collaboration would benefit both the organisation as well as help in the growth and development of skills in the country.
Financial support While NSDC will offer the requisite financial support for creating measurable and profit focused vocational training initiatives, CRISP will offer sustainable development via organisational and human resources development, advanced level skill training, tooling and precision machining, vocational education and training in IT consultancy.
NSDC is the enabler for skill development initiatives in the country, in line with the current vision of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and is eager to make India the skill capital of the world.
