ONGC will institute a high-level independent investigation into the chopper crash that killed six passengers on board.
A company statement said ONGC CMD Shashi Shanker had discussions with Pawan Hans CMD BP Sharma to work out various modalities to avoid such mishaps in future.
Shanker also pointed out that “all permissible steps will be taken to restore the safety and confidence of offshore-going personnel.”
