Opposition party leaders demand CBI probe in IAS officer's death

Opposition party leaders walked from Vidhana Soudha to Raj Bhavan and submitted a petition demanding CBI enquiry in the dealth of Ravi.

Opposition party leaders in Karnataka led by Jagadish Shettar of BJP and H D Kumarswamy took out a silent march in support of IAS officer D K Ravi, who died mysteriously on Monday.

The leaders walked from Vidhana Soudha to Raj Bhavan and submitted a petition demanding CBI enquiry in the dealth of Ravi.

The Governor of Karnataka, Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala, has accepted the petition.

Jagadish Shettar narrated the incdents and said this is not a suicide. Before postmortem report came out, the Bangalore Police Commissioner has given his statement as suicide, he added.
